Your name, e-mail, optional phone and profile photo, your travel plans (route, dates, airline, needs and preferences), the contact details you choose to give us for a trip (e-mail, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram profile), and messages sent through the platform.
If you asked for a travel companion on Facebook, a community forum or another website, a member of our team may reach out to you there and offer to list your request here. We keep such requests private (visible only to our team) until you confirm them through the link we send you. If you don't confirm, we don't publish them, and we delete them after the travel date.
We share the contact details you gave for a trip only with a travel companion we match you with, and only if you ticked the consent box for that trip. You choose which details to give. If you prefer not to share any, matched companions can still reach you through in-app chat. We keep a record of every time a contact detail is shared or viewed.
To find matching travellers, notify you about matches (by e-mail, in-app, or by contacting you on the platform where you posted), moderate the service, and improve it. We never sell your data.
We send account and match-related e-mails. Travel tips and updates are sent only if you opted in; you can opt out at any time by contacting us.
Trip posts and their contact details are kept until the travel date has passed and then archived; ticket attachments are deleted 30 days after the travel date. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by e-mailing [email protected]; we do so within 48 hours.
